1. Who we are
This policy explains how Feeling Like Chocolate, LLC ("we", "us") handles personal information in Align360, including align360.io and the Align360 app (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms. The Service is only for people who are 18 or older.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password, or your Google account details if you sign in with Google.
- What you put in: assessment answers, onboarding answers, chat messages, documents and images you upload, and the reports and profiles generated from them.
- Organization details: if you join or set up an organization, its name, your role, seats, invitations and the sharing choices you make for it.
- Billing details: your plan and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- Messages you send us, for example through the contact form.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser and timestamps, kept by our hosting providers to run and secure the Service. Some of your progress is also saved in your own browser.
3. How we use it
- to run the Service: score assessments, generate reports and answer your messages;
- to manage accounts, organizations, billing and support;
- to send messages about your account, and to follow up when you ask us to contact you;
- to keep the Service secure and to fix and improve it;
- to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train AI models.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only for that purpose:
- hosting, database and sign-in providers that store your account and content;
- AI model providers that process your messages, uploads and answers to generate responses and reports;
- Stripe, to process payments;
- our customer relationship tool, which holds your name, email address and plan so we can support and follow up with you;
- an email delivery provider, to send account and invitation emails.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. A list of our current providers is available on request.
5. Organizations
If you belong to an organization on the Service, its administrators can see your name, email address and role. They see team-level patterns only after at least five members have chosen to share, and never your individual answers, reports or conversations. You can change your sharing choice for an organization at any time.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing samuel@align360.io, and we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep some of it for legal, billing or security reasons. Security and audit records keep account identifiers only.
7. Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing samuel@align360.io. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them as that law requires.
8. Security
Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited so each person reaches only their own data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Where it is processed
Your information is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
10. People under 18
The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, contact samuel@align360.io and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
When we update this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and give notice for material changes.
